BILLY
Billy owns and runs the local paper shop, a few doors away from my house. He's a well known local character
with ties to the common riding (a big deal round these here parts) and he's got a reputation as a raconteur par
excellence.
Billy's more than comfortable with an audience and as a result the time I spent with him was possibly the easiest
interview' experience of the project thus far. He talked on a number of subjects from his time as a biochemist,
the history of his shop and of a number of surprising local historical legends / myths(?)
Whist it would be tempting to illustrate these stories - maybe next year - it's still Billy that's the subject in this
instance. His openness and verbose nature is simply the flavor. This is Billy the paper shop owner.
